Murmansk is a major city situated in the far north-eastern region of Kalevala (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata) within the Muurmanni Province. Murmansk is the largest port within Kalevala, being responsible for ~40% of Kalevian maritime trade due to its deep-water position allowing for larger ships not suited for the Baltic Sea to access it.
