Nuelo is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Hispania and Yetian Cooperative within the Yatan Commonwealth. The city has a population of roughly 9.8 Million people, of which a majority are ethnolinguistically Hispano-Yetians - though countless other people from all nationalities and walks of life have made their lives in the city. The city itself is located within the Nuelo Mayor Province, which largely consists of the city's metropolitan area.
Nuelo was initially constructed as a planned city to replace the much older Yetia City, which after its years of existence been supplanted in importance by Nuelo. Nuelo's importance can be seen in its position as a global hub for commerce, tourism, trade, and politics. Transportation-wise nuelo is connected to the main Inter-Eurasian Railways and Trans-Eurasian highways, alongside its own domestic roads and robust metro system.
