Samarkand is the capital city Anakistan (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata) located in the south-eastern Samarkand Province, being the most developed settlement within the nation. The city has seen its fair share of historical involvement as battle-grounds during the Sizzlean Invasion of Turkestan and Yakamoto, the Second Kipchak-Ozbek War, the Ozbek Revolution, and the War for Turkic Unity.
