Zielskans are a sapient mammaloid species native to the planet Ziel which have since the achievement of FTL Travel spread to various colony worlds unified under the Hegemony of Sczielska. Historically they divided themselves into rigid nation-states that fiercely opposed one another until they managed to overcome their differences, allowing them to advance to the point of attaining interstellar travel and unify their disparate factions under a loose confederation. They are notable for their coats of fur and tall curved horns extending from the tops of their flat-faced heads.
