Towards the end of World War 21, the government of Lineland was usurped by the new Siberian Confederacy which wiped out most organized resistance against their new regime with a notable exception of the far-eastern areas of the Chukchi Peninsula and Sakhalin, which the Linelandic White Army kept holding onto, which the Siberian military now moved to reclaim. After some success, the Siberian army was routed by the Whites who launched a march on Linasgrad. Determined to preserve their new Confederacy, the armies of Siberia launched a counterattack which lead to many White forces being encircled and destroyed as their main force was pushed back to Magadan, where they managed to hold back the Siberians. The war slowed down at this point, with the only notable event being a brief Amur Government intervention against a White Army incursion in southern Okhotsk.
