The Federation of Siberian Soviet Republics, also known as just "Siberia" or "FSSR" Was a sovereign federal republic located in north-eastern asia, formerly expanding into central asia before its defeat by the Tritonian Confederacy in the First Confederate-Siberian War.
Siberia borders the Tritonian Confederacy, Samoyed-Ugric Union and Altaylar to the west, Khuree, Sizzle and Chernolinnas to the south, The Spinese Wasteland to the east and Yamalia to the north, alongside a large coastline with the pacific and arctic oceans. The capital city Was Linasgrad, located on the Lena River.
Government
Siberia was a Federal One-Party Socialist Republic, with the sole legal political party being the Communist Party of Siberia. The last long-lasting chairman was Tuyana Byambasüren, who formerly was a high ranking figure in the Communist Party of Buryatia before the Greater Unification Treaty that united all post-independence war socialist republics aligned with the Linelandic SFR. After Tuyana Byambasüren's death Zotov Konstantinovich was elected as the new president, who signed the Mylonagrad Unification Treaty, ending the FSSR as it was absorbed by the Eurasian Confederacy in 350.
Siberia itself has several allies across the globe due to its affiliation with the International Union of Worker's Republics, though none of these nations exist on its borders, as its western and southern borders are full of hostile states due to wars fought with the FSSR's predecessor, the Siberian Federation. The Siberian Soviets still holds revanchist beliefs against these nations, wishing to reclaim vast swaths of territory especially in East Tritonia.
Department of Security
The Department of Security (Russian: Департамент безопасности / Departament bezopasnosti) was the governing body behind internal, foreign, and military intelligence within Siberia.
Committee for Federal Security (KFB)
The Committee for Internal Security (Russian: Комитет федеральной безопасности / Komitet federal'noy bezopasnosti) was the main internal security agency for the FSSR. It was under the command of the Department of Security, with the goal of carrying out internal security, foreign intelligence, counter-intelligence and secret police functions within and outside of the FSSR.
International Security Directorate (UMB)
The International Security Directorate (Russian: Управление международной безопасности // Upravleniye mezhdunarodnoy bezopasnosti) was the Siberian Red Army's military intelligence agency. It was responsible for handling Siberia's military intelligence, and was reportedly the largest intelligence service within the entire federation. It was notable for executing more riskier operations than its contemporaries, making use of its own trained special forces.
