The Republic of Petoria, often simply known as Petoria, is a small recognised micronation located in New England first established by Peter Griffin 2, whom was later on succeeded by Lois Griffin and then Peter Griffin (1). Petoria is currently under a largely authoritarian regime, with Peter Griffin largely being able to justify this by keeping away possible threats and with his former alliance with Hyperborea and the Imperial Council. Prior to his rule the two previous administrations were much less restrictive, although still fairly dictatorial.
History
Petoria was founded in 88 by Peter Griffin 2. He lead a fairly neutral reign for the most part not doing much other than revealing his omniscience to try to get money from Sizhese investors. He established the National Animal, Ministry of Poopy, Petorian Space Program and many others. He was eventually overthrown by Lois Griffin after finding out he was a clone which led to the Lois Administration. Her reign was brief but saw her introducing green politics and promises of democritisation. This did not last long as Peter Griffin returned via time travel saving by Green leading to Peter Griffin assuming control of Petoria. He decided to keep his predecessors reforms though. He led the nation more aggressively, invading all of Yorica once until Peter Griffin 2 was exploded by the Blargs. He alligned with the YNF and they created Trophia together in which Petoria alongside the YNF conquered all of Yata for about a year. Petoria wasn't really punished because they surrendered after the YNF collapsed. Petoria afterwards was fairly neutral with some incidents such as Peter Griffin breaching the Alicorn Magic Seal over Big Chungus freeing him from eternal entrapment. After Big Chungus consolidated his rule in Kauria later to become Hyperborea they allligned together during the Yomtach Occupation once again under the banner of Trophia. Together they held one of the most fierce resistance against the Yomtach Occupation. Afterwards they re-seperated and ever since Petoria has been at peace.
