The Republic of Almadina was a nation located in the south-western region of the Arabian Peninsula, solely bordering Aparty in the north and east for most of its history. The capital, Almadina, shared a name with the country itself, and was located in the west of the country.
Almadina was almost completely arabic ethnically and linguistically, with the exception of some expat communities living within major urban areas.
History
Almadina gained independence in 120 as an experiment done by Asophania to create an area the Iujado could not survive in during one of their invasions of Yata.
During the Democratic Uprisings in Goldaria and Eteria in 135 Almadina joined the WDI alongside Aparty to end the conflict, in which they together launched a naval invasion of northern Goldaria, eventually signing a peace treaty once the dictatorships were overthrown.
Once a World War 10 broke out in 136 Almadina also joined so they could support Sarpistan, launching an invasion of Apothelis during the war. They maintained support in the war until Sarpistan installed violent dictatorships in Goldaria and Eteria alongside heavy punishments to Yetia leading to them severing relations.
Later on in 146 Almadina assisted Yetia and its allies to overthrow Sarpistani influence over them.
When World War 11 broke out in 158. Almadina got involved in order to stop Sizzlean Imperialism, however it eventually lost and was turned into a Hayahan Puppet State, eventually regaining freedom in 163.
In 335 the recently established Islamic Emirate of Alhayat declared war on Almadina and Aparty, launching a full-scale invasion of their territories. While Aparty managed to hold off for a period of time, Almadina was fairly quickly overwhelmed and occupied by Alhayatian forces. After a long battle, Alhayat and its enemies negotiated a peace deal in which Almadina would end up as a client state of Alhayat under an islamist government named the 'Islamic Emirate of Almadina'.
In 364 following the conclusion of conflict between Khat and Alhayat, Islamist Almadina was incorporated into the new United Arab Republic. This rule would last for some time until Almadina was granted independence in 375 following the UAR's negotiated peace and exit from the Yetian-Eurasian War.
Almadina was dissolved once more in 392, in which it was absorbed by The Confederacy after aligning with the Anti-Globalist Pact, which ended up losing against Confederate forces. Once The Confederacy collapsed Almadina became part of the Arab Federation, which it is still a part of till this day.
