The State, also known as the "Onaxian State" is a planet-wide governmental body encompassing the entirety of the Onaxus System in the Inner Rim of the Dagda Galaxy, nowadays operating under a state-directed collectivist model established in 447 following a revolution against its previous regime.
Prior to the ascension of the Politburo of Onaxus into power The State was run by the 'Committee of Social Order', a even more totalitarian apolitical regime focused on maintaining its own power via a series of controlling orders directed by the 'Decree of Social Order' notable for tenets such as enforced cyborgization, usage of thought-altering implants and nanomachines, mass surveillance, and tight government control over all facets of society. This regime came to an end in 447 after a software failure to their nanomachine network lead to a largescale uprising, allowing a dissident faction of the government opposed to the Committee's stagnation to seize power in a coup after securing favour of the rebels, leading to the birth of the still authoritarian but now largely collectivist progress-oriented 'Politburo of Onaxus'
