Luvamatrilia is a sovereign anomalous city-state and free-port located in far north-eastern europe in the village of Poseshchayemyy. It has a very small population of 31, although the village is also home to a unknown amount[1] ghosts, whom inhabit and technically rule the nation. The locals are aware of their existence, although cannot interact or see with them, instead only feeling their presence[2].
Until 363 Luvamatrilia was located between Luvakhia and the Eurasian Confederacy, however since the Syktyvkar Agreement it has been completely surrounded by Eurasia and later on Tritonia after the Confederacy's collapse.
Government
Luvamatrilia has been ruled by a ghost[3] named Marcus Markus Alexander ever since its founding, acting as the nation's leader on the international stage. However due to the nature of ghosts not being able to perceived by the people of Luvamatrilia the actual living humans de facto live in a state of anarchy, though still at least somewhat loyal[4] to their nation.
Foreign Relations
Unlike many other free-ports, Luvamatrilia actually has interactions with other governments, although this is rare. Luvamatrilia's closest ally is the Red Army, although in the past they have also were allies with Spisos until they fell out.
In its earlier history Luvamatrilia attempted to aid other countries in wars with the aim of collecting dead bodies for some reason, although they weren't actually capable of interacting with any enemies so this wasn't effective. Countries they aided during this era included Kalevala, Nilastan
The only country which explicitly dislikes Luvamatrilia is Yamalia, though Luvamatrilia seemingly distrusted Luvakhia as well.
