The Empire of Swagonia was a sovereign polity established in 215 which for most of its history ruled the Reagruparse Peninsula and the Zelenaya Dolina Region, claiming to be the 'true' government of all of Altilai. It was dissolved after being conquered by the forces of the New Orientalis Liberation Front in 330.
History
Junta Era - 215-229
In 215, the Provisionary Swagonia Junta formed as a result of the controversial State Election of 215. This military junta formed the provinces of Swagonia that are still used, along with putting resources aside to build Zelenaya Dolina. However, this government was very unpopular, especially in the east, and as such did not do all that much. This era also saw the construction of various insurance agencies across Ciudad Gris.
Civil War - 229-231
On April 23, 229, the 23rd of April Movement declared the junta to be illegitimate due to discrepencies in the State Election of 215. This led to a 2 year long civil war, where the junta was forced back to Zelenaya Dolina and Reagruparse. After the peace treaty, Polsk occupied East Zelenaya Dolina, leaving Reagruparse as the only city.
Empire Era - 231-
In 231, a prominant member of the junta, Farzad Nouzari, managed to take over enough of the military to make himself emperor of Swagonia. (WIP)
