As Mars and Humanity kept preparing for the Qu threat, a message was received from the Martian Outer Territories ~65 Lightyears away from Alpha Sol which reported that 'scout sightings' were becoming more and more common while sub-space scanners detected faint encrypted signals from massive ships ~150 Lightyears away, recommending that Mars and its protectorates build up for a defensive campaign effective enough to repel the attack as they believed that offensives would go nowhere, though they also noted that they couldn't be 100% certain of the situation and were still conducting research.
