Angels, also known as Greater Spirits or various other names, are a collection of intelligent metaphysical entities native to the Spectrosphere's Median Space, a fractal-like aggregation of numerous astral planes with a fluid enough reality to be (un)consciously manipulated and shaped by their occupants. Angels act as the custodians of the Median Space, maintaining its structural integrity by either preserving the natural state of its sub-realities or molding them into constructs/habitats thanks to an inherent collaborative nature. Socially, Angels are organized akin to a superorganism as despite individual Angels being their own beings, they naturally communicate and organize on a collective-scale and act according to the desires of the whole, though they are not traditionally 'Hiveminded' in any way aside from having some sense of awareness regarding knowledge possessed by fellow Angels. Angels possess a degree of reality manipulation due to their nature of their home reality, which even persists in other worlds to a more limited degree as they are able to open gateways outside of the Median Space if they so wish, though this is rarely done other than to locations they hold with enough significance to maintain elsewhere as well. Alongside molding areas according to their combined will, Angels appear to have a degree of protectiveness even if they are agitated by the presence of outsiders, creating and preserving spaces where 'outsiders' accumulate unless agitated. The total limit of the plane of existence they inhabit is difficult to ascertain, though alongside the 'main section' of the Spectrosphere they have occasionally also been sighted in realms such as Liminal Spaces due to some degree of connectivity between such realms and the Spectrosphere.

Additionally, Deities created via the collective will of mortal lifeforms become present within the Spectrosphere due to their nature as 'divine', making them capable of ascending to the Spectrosphere as a sacred somewhere to inhabit, often permanently being transferred there as Lesser Spirits or rarely Angels if their presence in the physical realm is destroyed.

Types of Angels

• Nuntius: Inhuman Angels covered in rings and eyes rather than any recognisable form which inhabit Liminal Heaven.
• Ultor: Humanoid Angels inhabiting Liminal Heaven which hold trumpets, blowing into them when Humans catch their attention in order to kill them.
