Zielskans are a sapient mammaloid species native to the planet Ziel which have since the achievement of FTL Travel spread to various colony worlds divided between the Hegemony of Zielska and the Union of Zielska, two ideologically opposed factions with the former being individualistic and divided into several member-states and the latter being collectivist and centralized under one government. They are notable for their coats of fur and tall curved horns extending from the tops of their flat-faced heads.
