In the year 209, Supreme-Leader Anahita Pianga of Sarpistan died of illness, leading to a mourning period as her contributions towards moderating Sarpistan's previous cult of personality and totalitarianism saw major success. In the past all successor leaders in Sarpistani history were decided by the eldest child of the leader becoming the next leader, though Anahita never had any children which lead to a power struggle which was 'solved' with a military coup which was incredibly unpopular due to essentially no consultation. As the 'Pianga Sphere' was rocked by the death of Anahita, the Khatian proxy governments in Saharia and Bornuvia were thrown into chaos as the Saharian White Guard, Bornuvian Free Army, and Kamerun Legionary State rose up in revolution against their governments to seize total independence from Khatian influence, drawing Khat into a conflict in the region, calling in Wanaoishi to their aid. Khat rushed to help put down the revolts as they expanded rapidly, though all of the sudden Sarpistan erupted into chaos as once the Military Council fully stabilized Mesopotamia it lost control over its Caucasian territories as the Kaukasian United Front proclaimed a 'general revolt' against Sarpistan, soon being joined by the Hayastan Liberation Army and Free Army of North Azeria, inciting further revolts such as the Kaukasien Death Squad to make their own revolts before signing a cease fire with the Kaukasian General Revolt.

Khat and Sarpistan both argued over each other's failures while the General Revolt besieged the city of Kazrezhye, soon capturing it. More chaos began in the Sahel as a group known as the 'Darfur Free Army' rose up in Khat as it aligned with the Free Saharan Front. Anti-Military forces began organizing nation-wide in Sarpistan after the fall of Kazrezhye, allowing the 'Islamic State of Hayah' to rise up in rebellion. Bornuvia and Sarpistan kept unravelling as the State of Judea, Republic of Bangui, Fifth Republic of Alinya (Who formed the 'Democratic Front'), Levantine Emirate, Sahri Republic, Sultanate of Hejaz, Kurdish Liberation Front, Emirate of Dubai rose up, leading to the Liberty Pact launching an intervention, occupying the Bosphorus region where the 'Liberty Pact Mandate of the Bosphorus' was formed, while Izmir was handed over to Choros. Conflict broke out between the Legionnaires and Bantu, while Alinya and Judea aligned themselves with the Liberty Pact.
