Onaxus is a medium-sized terrestrial planet situated within the Onaxus System in the Dagda Galaxy's Inner Rim, being the sole permanently inhabited planet within its star-system (with all other planets only having a government-owned scientific or military stations). Onaxus is the homeworld of the Onaxunians, an Avianoid sapient species which managed to found a civilization which later evolved into a world governent known as 'The State of Onaxus', adopting a largely totalitarian communalistic government which has in recent years developed fairly basic FTL Travel capabilities, though the Onaxunians have not yet set up permanent civilian settlements beyond Onaxus. Onaxus is home to various continents dominated by grasslands and forests home to Phycoerythrin-based plantlife (giving the landmasses a red-tint when viewed from space) while the remaining 56% of the planet is covered by oceans.
