The Democratic Republic of Choros, more commonly known as simply Choros, is a sovereign socialist republic located in the south-east of Europe. Choros have a population of 30 Million, and borders Najova to the north and Alduria to the east. Choros as a whole is among one of the oldest still existing nations on Yata, being first established in 66, with the only significant interruptions to this being its membership in The Confederacy and the occasional occupations by foreign powers.
Politics and Government
Choros is a Presidential Democratic and Communist Republic led by President Raphil Rastapopoulos of the Democratic Party of Choros, whom acted as both Head of State and Head of Government. The legislature of Choros is named the 'Democratic Assembly' and consists of democratically elected representatives from across the nation, only left-wing Parties are allowed, right-wing parties are banned and illegal.
