Almadina is the capital and largest city in the Aden Province of Almadina (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata)along the shore of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, where it acts as a major port city. Historically Almadina acted as the capital of the sovereign Republic of Almadina until its eventual annexation by The Confederacy, leading to it becoming a part of the Arab Federation until it joined the Yatan Commonwealth, which was later annexed by the Yatan-Theian Federation until the Second Concordance led to the creation of the Confederation of Yata within which Almadina holds a partially sovereign status.
