Kanashi, also coloquially known as "Dead Yata", is a planet in the Alpha Sol System which is an iteration of Yata from an alternate dimension. It currently exists in a Binary Orbit with Yata Prime. It is the original planet where Yata took place until Red Leader came to power banished it into Timeline-002, where on the way it ended up nearly uninhabitable. Most humans evacuated it to the Yata in the new dimension but Kanashi retains a small population of approximately 8 million people.

Living there is very hard as it mostly lacks water and arable land alongside being infested with Deadlings making surviving there even more difficult. The seas on Kanashi, which were already toxic and radioactive, have even begun slowly oxidising and turning more reddish.

Civilisation

See "Kanashi Clans"

Every single major nation or civilisation on Kanashi collapsed upon its arrival into Timeline-002, with no new major "countries" emerging either. The most common societal type on the planet generally consists of a small warlord or bandit territory that exist inland in order to avoid the planet's seas that tend to attract the Deadling hordes.

Non-Kanashian Presence

There is a major presence of Deadling colonies across Kanashi, alongside a small Yatan-Theian Accord Base in the Tibetan Plateau.
