Demons are sentient entities that typically inhabit perdition-based afterlives. Their appearance may vary from being a supernatural spirit, a typical abrahamic depiction, a mythological demonic entity, or something completely different. Demons vary widely from incorporeal to corporeal, from benevolent to malicious, and harmless to dangerous.
Demons can interact with the "living world", as long as they are summoned. After summoning they can be constrained to perform a specific task in exchange for some kind of payment.
In Yata
Demons have been summoned countless times across the history of Yata, although they only once physically entered Yata's reality in 142, in which Nakmai was teleported to Hell for 50 years, although due to time dilation it was only 5 minutes in reality. Once it returned several demons were brought alongside the inhabitants of Nakmai.
It was never specified what happened to them afterwards, but they were likely captured.
