Eirnics are a species of sapient robots which arose in Yata after the fall of Red City, in which several of Red City's worker androids gained sentience and called themselves the "Eirnics". Newer generations of Eirnics were created via the "Sentience Disk", a vaguely anomalous CD Drive created and owned by the Eirnic nation of Omnia. This Disk remained in their hands until the Yetia City Eirnic factory, which had previously housed the disk, was destroyed during the Yetian War of Independence. The Disk remained unlocated within the unexplored underground rubble of the factory until it was eventually rediscovered by Cyber Corp., and thus put into the care of one of its subsidiaries.

Once the eirnics had risen out of Red City initially, they reorganized it into the State of Omnia, a nation of their own. Omnia continued to exist in the same area as Red City until they were attacked by the New Sizzlean Empire, forcing them to relocate to a plot of land in the alps granted to them by Yetia, who began cooperating with them until the First World War, in which Yetia fell to an ultranationalist regime which stripped Omnia of its autonomy. Omnia & the Eirnics helped overthrow this regime, and were thus granted a large occupation zone in Yetia post war. During this era though, the surviving Red Leader began tampering with the Eirnics with the help of Attrick Gas, which caused them to show aggression towards biological life (Humanity specifically), leading to Omnia and surviving Yetian forces to engage in a largescale war against each other in the Yetian War of Independence, which ended in the destruction of both sides as Yetia unleashed nuclear weapons to wipe out the infected Omnia to prevent it from launching any kind of global conquest. Following this, several surviving Eirnics spread out across the world as they now lacked a home. Out of these surviving communities the largest one is an isolated underwater city named Eirnic City located in the Bismarck Sea, which allegedly is still able to produce sapient Eirnics.

Anatomy and Systems

Eirnics are usually humanoid in shape, with some exceptions. This humanoid base shape is formed by an armoured outer shell made out of Varinite. They can optionally have built in weaponry systems which have historically proven to be very effective in dealing with traditional armsfire. All of these systems are powered via Void Energy, primarily due to them first being "built" by those who discovered void energy.
