Isfahan is the capital of Apothelis (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata) situated in the central Fars Province. Isfahan has historically been a major city ever since the collapse of the Apothilene Democracy, with the Kingdom of Isfahan being formed there which would eventually go on to reunify the region under the Imperial State of Apothelis, cementing the city as the capital of the Apothilene nation ever since then.
