The Late Void is the 'origin' of Void Energy within the Omniverse, existing as a nebulous dimension between the myriad of dimensions of Baseline Reality as some-form of interdimensional 'foam'. The Late Void is largely devoid of matter, instead being an endlessly swirling vortex of Void Energy with the few pieces of standard matter within the realm clumping together into occasional asteroid-like objects that exist as the only places of solid ground within the dimension.
The Late Void is under the rule of the Void Balance consisting of the Good God of Void, The Giver, and the Red Leader (Whom usurped the "Bad God of Void"), with each side of the balance in a battle for control. The Late Void is thought to be greatly tied to Voidspace (Which is thought to either be its own sub-dimension or a realm directly connected to the Late Void) and the Primordial Void, although the connections between the Late and Primordial voids is unclear.
