The League of Islamic States was formed in 351 by several former members of the International Coalition for Bornuvian Liberation, united by their faith and success in their intervention against Beafrika. The Convention aimed to stand as a "third axis" in the ongoing Yatan Cold war standing in opposition against both the Rome Cooperation Council and Eurasian Security Council.
Despite their initial powerful beginnings, the 4 leading nations of the alliance, Alhayat, Maghreb, and Synoristan were destroyed due to conquests from Khat and Nilastan, leading to the alliance collapsing for the most part. After this collapse, Turkestan left the alliance therefore the remaining members reorganized it into the Union of Sahel Islamic States
