Dronebrained

The person Levi inhabited fell asleep again, returning to this plane. Levi was their guardian and a reflection of themself, but despite this they grew weaker and weaker. The stress of corporeality must be quite troubling, but Levi was here to provide an escape, as it was the purpose Levi was dreamt up for. This cycle continued at an accelerating pace, with the person Levi inhabited growing weaker. Levi was not designed to question or even think, so Levi disregarded this. One day Levi's person materialized in front of it, so Levi decided to embrace them due to their frailty. Everything went black after this.
Levi awoke once more, in a new place which did not resemble the dreamscape it was made in. Levi disregarded this, it is not for them to think about... Out of instincts brought out by a lack of instructions, Levi explored this structure it found itself in, which aside from the whispering that permeated even through its 'previous home' seemed fairly barren for now. This state would not last, as 'family' entities would soon arrive, providing Levi with various objectives which Levi instinctually completed without instructions to do otherwise. Levi soon developed a routine, simply doing what was offered to it to complete the tasks... Little did Levi know, they all thought that it was the person, now deserving of praise that they had never before achieved. Little Levi had finally managed to break out of their shell and begin doing their part they said, praising Levi for no longer locking themself in their room. Levi did not understand, as they had always adventured in this dream all the same, but maybe the entities did not know this yet.
They eventually grew suspicious of Levi's behaviour despite their praises, noting how they behaved nothing like how they used to. As much as Levi's work ethic masked their fears, these concerns eventually grew too great as Levi was sent to see a professional. The family kept pleading to the doctors their case of how everything used to be so different, yet they could find no cause. Pill after pill Levi remained the same, they said they was suddenly so cooperative yet so asocial, so naive yet so bold. It was almost as if they were replaced.
I woke up in Static

Faith woke up in static every morning. The conscious stream she experienced in her sleep pained her greatly, so she sought help from professionals, yet nothing seemed to help. In her desperation she took notice of a strange phone number hidden in the newspapers, probably one which many had missed as the screen had largely taken over Yata. The voice on the phone spoke with a strange bubbly tone, proclaiming; "Well isn't that such a problem! Well don't you every worry once more as we-me Eunoia can fix your sleep just right up! You needn't any further steps as everything should soon be sorted out, verily so!". Despite disregarding this as nonsense after hanging up, once she had fallen asleep later that night she would encounter It.
She had heard tales of people claiming that other people had visited their dreams before, yet she imagined nothing like this. Before here stood a amalgamation of thousands buzzing together like a beehive yet sticking together as one mass at the same time as the sky hazed a uncomfortable purple. Setting her eyes upon this... thing... she felt such an overwhelming sense of... ... She was not sure. It felt like a panic of every emotion haphazardly mixed together in a way that their core components could no longer be identified. A fearful joy, a happy depression, a timid anger, nothing the image of This made sense. Yet its sight... was such a beautiful incoherence that she could not simply refuse its offerings as a figure of figures emerged from the Thing, introducing itself as 'Merry Representative Mebison Jeofferey' of Eunoia, offering her freedom from the static if she was to become one with them in the same tone the person on the phone had spoken in. What could she do but accept?
The next time she slept it was ever-so interesting compared to what it had been in the past. A beautiful incoherency of a haze-y buzzing abstraction flowed around her, carrying her through it like a river of a new paradise. Instead of initially only being a nice break from the storm that her dreams had once been, it soon became ever-more tempting, slowly taking over her entire life as she kept going to sleep earlier and earlier and sleeping later and later to experience the Eunoia... As so much of her life had already left her behind unlike Eunoia's embrace, how could she say no one Eunoia suggested that she may not even need to exist in the corporeal world any longer to keep experiencing it.
