Agadez is a city located in the Tuaregia Province of Saharia (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata) situated deep in the Sahara Desert along one of the few trans-Saharan highway/railway junctions. Agadez was briefly the capital of an eponymous state calling itself the 'Confederation of Agadez' until 306, after which the nation fell.
