Biawens are a subspecies of [[Kanarans]] distinguished by their taller frame and paler skin compared to "standard" Kanarans. They are a species of [[Theian Natives]] who inhabited the savannahs of northern Ancient Kanar. Many of them were killed in the [[Kanar-Bejrik War]] and subjugated as a slave race akin to the [[Billadaka]]. Much like most [[Theian]] Natives they seeked refuge underground to survive the [[Theian Cataclysm]], they arose from their underground caverns in the year 254 and rebuilt the ruins of their old civilisations by creating the [[Pau Moujhane]] ''(Biawen Monolith)'' around the edges of the cavern they emerged from, resembling a layered-cake looking mountain when viewed from outside.
