Uwu is a town within the Sepik-Torricelli Nation of Luxuria (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata). Uwu is among the most difficult to reach communities on Yata due to having no infrastructure connections and being situated int he heart of the dense Papua rainforest, though despite this its name has attracted attention from the Furry Rights Movement which established a 'Fursuit Emporium' within the town.
