| Source | Rift Projectors can rarely be found in Sub-Spaces with 'advanced' aesthetics such as The Facility, Goliath, and the Portal Matrix. They can be visually identified by their appearance that takes the form of a "futuristic" gun mounted on a flimsy tripod structure. |
| Side Effects | Entering a portal created by a Rift Projector will send you to another proximate Liminal Space with a fairly high rate of success, though in rare cases this may fail and send one to a much more dangerous location from which no people have thus far been documented to return from. |

Rift Projectors are unusual portal-devices that may be found within the Backrooms System that create temporary portals to other proximate Liminal Spaces for ease of travel. Some rarer variants of the Rift Projector (known as "Bound Projectors") can create permanent portals, although after use they become immovable.
