Annwn is an ungoverned island situated within the southern Irish Sea partially located within a pocket dimension. Annwn is inhabited by various spectral and magical entities. While Annwn was initially inhabited by a population of Celtic Humans known as the Tirarall from 3013 BCE to 1174 BCE. Following this it fell under the control of magical beings, leading its interaction with the outside world being fairly limited, especially since the SDS Foundation established the Veil Doctrine.

The original human inhabitants were somewhat differentiated from baseline humanity due to their knowledge of magic, although any lingering presence of this subspecies is unlikely.
