Mars is the seventh and furthest terrestrial planet from Alpha Sol. It is the second smallest planet within the system, and is primarily composed out of vast rocky deserts and craters, with some exceptions such as its icy polar regions. Mars has a primarily carbon dioxide atmosphere and two small moons named Phobos and Deimos.

Modern Conditions

Mars is one of the more populated planets in the Alpha Sol System, due to its close proximity to Yata and Theia, alongside recent colonization efforts turning Mars into a "refugee planet" of some sorts.

Civilian travel to the planet is nowadays fairly open, with countless open homes in large shielded "bubble" environments for humans and other oxygen breathing species, surrounded by vast settlements inhabited by the native Martian Species[1], whose respiratory system is designed to absorb oxygen out of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

While the optimism of "taking back" Mars since its initial destruction is high, the Martian settlements themselves are among of the poorest cities within the entirety of the Yatan-Theian Accord.
