Nuelo is the capital and second-largest city of Yetia (a member-republic of the Confederation of Yata) located in the Nuelo Mayor Province which encompasses the city's metropolitan area in the northern portion of the Iberian Peninsula. The city has a population of roughly 9.8 Million people, of which a majority are ethnolinguistically Spanish - though people from nearly all linguistic groups within Yetia (Czech, French, Dutch, German, Italian) have made their lives in the city.
Nuelo was initially constructed as a planned city to replace the older Yetia City, overtime supplanting its predecessor in global influence by becoming a global hub for commerce, tourism, trade, and politics as arguably the second-most important city on Yata. Transportation-wise nuelo is connected to the main Inter-Eurasian Railways and Trans-Eurasian highways, alongside its own domestic roads and robust metro system. Major landmarks within the city include 'Hotel Catherine', 'Nuelo Plaza', 'Yetevia Palace', the 'Yetian Parliament', the 'Nuelo Boxing Venue', the 'Nuelo Art Gallery and Museum', and many other locations.
