Samuel Elijah Gordon (born September 21st, 184 CE), and also known to his closest friends as "Captain", was an Alyphian mariner who, during the Insurgency and alongside his younger half-sister Amelie Parsons, captained a hunter-seeker ocean liner called the Mesopotamia, with the aim to intercept any Yomtach voyages bound for Asophania, and so protecting the continent from being compromised. Notably, he and his sister were part of a group of humans and Kaphisians that escaped Yata during the Insurgency, paving the way for the recapture of Yata. He (along with his sister) were both killed attempting to escape the deep space cruiser Mandragora in 216.
