Skurial is a terrestrial planet within the Beta Sol system, and is the first planet outside of the Alpha Sol system to be permanently settled by Humans. Human colonists first arrived to the planet in the Year 313, and later in the year it was admitted to the Interplanetary Senate. Upon the signing of the "Act of Confederation" in the Yatan-Theian Accord, Skurial's largest city, "Hope City" was designated as the capital of the Union of Accord Colonies.
Skurial's environment on land is pretty barren, with most of the surface being stone or gravel. Some actual soil can be found on the beaches of Skurial's Seas, which is where animals have been spotted living due to it being the only areas of the planet suited for growing plants. The seas of Skurial are very unique, as a vast majority of them are composed with Ultrapure water, and therefore Skurian water is by far better for Humans and drinking from the seas is largely safe as long as its boiled first to eradicate all microorganisms. Some lakes contain normal water and salt water, but these are generally rare.
