Amesidian was born as a pure Kaphi'si around 650 BCE, around three hundred years before the Theian Cataclysm. Her birth was and still remains the only Amesidian to have existed, meaning her existence was of great importance almost immediately. From a young age, she took a keen interest in the religion and lore of the Nine Gods of Theia, and by the age of twenty (still a child in Kaphi'si terms) she worked as a handmaiden to the archon of Lilaci'ah, Hecate. | Amesidian was born as a pure Kaphi'si around 650 BCE, around three hundred years before the Theian Cataclysm. On one fateful day, she was possessed by a then-unknown figure, later revealed to be the future fate Earendel, and proceeded to preach to the masses about a forecoming prophecy concerning the future of the universe. She proclaimed that the natural order of time was the works of the Three Fates who commanded the Loom of Fate, and that one day the natural order would be destroyed, and a fate would descend as a mortal to the planet Theia. This event was highly traumatic for her, and she soon grew to resent the natural order of the universe, interpreting the prophecy as a means for mortals to seize fate. On Black Opal's order, she was sent to study at the Sothro Institute, and soon after disappeared. Her whereabouts were unknown, and many presumed she was dead. However, she had retreated to the depths of the San Iujadis Caverns, later known as the TERAPRO caverns (as the facility would later be constructed there by Carbonado), which formed her base of operations, forming the nucleus of the Flavros Project. | On one fateful day, she was possessed by a then-unknown figure, later revealed to be the future fate Earendel, and proceeded to preach to the masses about a forecoming prophecy concerning the future of the universe. === Heading the Flavros Project === | |||
The Flavros Project consisted of two major components as her means of "usurping" fate - a destructive laser superweapon powerful enough to destroy stars, and a tear emulator. In her eyes, "usurping fate" was purely a metaphor (although the Flavros Project did require the prophecy to have become true), because in her eyes she could control the universe much like the fates were prophesied to do through fear. The portal technology in use meant that the location of the superweapon was covert, meaning that the superweapon's existence could not be countered through mutually assured destruction. The superweapon itself was an extremely energetic laser sourced from the energy contained within Diamond-type Kaphi, who were birthed and then killed. An exception was Carbonado, a fused gem of two diamonds originally produced for the Project who Amesidian raised as children, before they were eventually fused and sent to the surface. Carbonado would be indirectly mentored by Amesidian though they never met, and Carbonado would never discover the Flavros Project. | The Flavros Project consisted of two major components as her means of "usurping" fate - a destructive laser superweapon powerful enough to destroy stars, and a tear emulator. Centuries later, and well after TERAPRO's founding, Carbonado would initiate his own scheme to rule the universe, perhaps similarly inspired by the prophecy, by planning his own "death" when in reality he underwent soul-shattering, and carefully manipulating Lazuli to bring his original conscience to reality from the Realm of the Forgotten so he could ascend to the fourth dimension. Carbonado's true nature as a fused gem would be discovered by Isla, who defused his dead body into the constituent gems now known as Diamond-1 and Diamond-2. Teaming up with Isla, alongside many others, they sought to unravel the nature of the Flavros Project and Amesidian's plan to usurp fate. However, their discovery would be initially thwarted by Amesidian, whose metaphor acted as bait and as a contingency protocol in case the Flavros Project were to be discovered. She fired the Project for the first time in an attempt to kill them, but they barely escaped with her lives. Their survival put both them and Amesidian in check - they could not expose the Project in fear of it being used, yet Amesidian could not use the Project if people who knew where it was located were still alive. | Carbonado's true nature as a fused gem would be discovered by Isla, who defused his dead body into the constituent gems now known as Diamond-1 and Diamond-2. "Have you ever visited Earendel?" said the Grand Vizier, his words as cold as ice.
After all this time, can I really be surprised that they knew all along?
The Earendel Star, once upon a time, was one of the largest and most luminous stars known in the Milky Way Galaxy.
It was destroyed in some kind of anomalous catastrophe. It exploded, as stars do. It then imploded, as stars do. And left a remnant, as all stars do. But this one?
This was different.
That's why its been researched ever since. No one can explain what caused the Earendel Dark Nebula to appear.
I mean, I know what happened for I witnessed it - I caused it.
But after all this time... I don't quite know what caused it to happen... I-
"I'll take that as a no, then.." they said - his commanding voice pulling me out of the trance.
It seems the Empyrean spy presence was larger than we ever knew. Not long after we all arrived in the Empyrium, a ship came to clandestinely extract me.
And I was brought here to this planet, Tsadenia.
From the windows of the ship, I saw a gargantuan megastructure under construction.
It looked just familiar enough... but I couldn't realise what it was at the time...
Then he began.
"Amesidian, let's make this simple.."
"In exchange for full amnesty, we will allow you to work on the Weaver Project with us."
But, why me?
Why am I being given the easy way out after what I caused? Again, it didn't take me long to realise.
"We've studied your work, and... well... apologies are owed."
"I hope you don't mind that we... adapted some of your technology."
"What you designed on your own... its truly a marvel."
So that was it.
The Flavros Project... my life's work...
It's found me again.
"We have our side of the technology in the works..."
"But we need your expertise to perfect the quantum tunnelling technology. I've been assured by Guinevere that you can help us."
G-Guinevere? S-she...
...
Maybe this is some sort of symbolic revenge...
Or maybe she does want the best for me?
Is there something that she sees in this technology?
I'd be damned.. maybe I'll never know.
"I don't think it takes a genius to weigh up your options here, Amesidian."
"Work here with us, or don't."
No threats, just that?
What game are they playing here?
Once again, I looked back on the structure, what they called the "Weaver Project"...
It appears my work has led up to this, as well...
And just like that, I gave in.
"What are you going to use it for?" I asked, shyly.
I watched the Grand Vizier pause, almost dramatically.
"Amesidian..." he said, softly with a smile.
"Have you ever wanted to go where no one has gone before?"
"Have you ever wanted to reach the frontiers of all that is known?"
"Help us, Amesidian. Help us do it."
"Help us break free of this galaxy."
.....
.....
And that was the day I joined the project to build the Oblivion Weaver.
A day that was inconsequential at first...
But one that would remain with me forever.

However, she had retreated to the depths of the San Iujadis Caverns, later known as the TERAPRO caverns (as the facility would later be constructed there by Carbonado), which formed her base of operations, forming the nucleus of the Flavros Project.
Heading the Flavros Project
However, his plan would fail after a soul-shattered Cormac Connolly was similarly manipulated by Citrine (as Samekh) to oversee the construction of the World Machine to counter Carbonado's scheme. With Cormac and Carbonado both dead, the Flavros Project prepared to activate.
Fall of the Flavros Project
Carbonado's true nature as a fused gem would be discovered by Isla, who defused his dead body into the constituent gems now known as Diamond-1 and Diamond-2. They retained their pre-fusion memories, and thus knew about the Flavros Project's existence, which ultimately doomed the project.

This allowed the group to expose the Project to the world, causing TERAPRO to be breached and Amesidian being cornered in the Project. In a last ditch attempt to protect the weapon, she fused with Citrine to become Ametrine once more, taking on the monikor "Schadenfreude." However, she would be fooled by Daniel, who sacrificed his life by taunting her with what appeared to be a digiverse prism, something which could destroy the Project for certain, allowing the group with a real digiverse prism to initiate its destruction.
Their plan was a success, and as she watched the Flavros Project implode on itself, Diamond-1 would execute both her and Citrine with the Sceptre of Discernment, an ancient relic that could shatter a Kaphi'si. Before her death, however, she would make her final prophecy, warning of impending doom as a result of the Flavros Project's destruction.
New life on Eos
This later came to be true in the form of the Eos Incident, as she along with tens of billions of deceased individuals would be raised from the dead onto a planet they could not leave. The revived Carbonado would later inform Black Opal that Amesidian was nowhere to be found on Eos. Unbeknownst to others, a few years after her arrival, Amesidian was extracted from Eos by denizens of the Empyrean Emperor and brought to the planet Tsadenia in the Empyrium. Given that she had destroyed the Earendel Star, the Imperial Authority allowed her to bargain for her freedom if she assisted them in applying quantum tunnelling technology from the Flavros Project to their experimental satellite known as the Oblivion Weaver. It is unknown how the Imperial Authority came to know about the nature of the Flavros Project, however. This would not be finished until after Eos was brought to the Empyrium, after which she was quietly returned to Eos and reunited with her old enemies.
