Uninhabitable planets are planets that are not suitable for human habitation (or any similar humanoid, or carbon-based lifeform for that matter). Many uninhabitable worlds have a population that live on biodomes or equivalent habitats that protect them from harsh conditions, or to give them breathable air in planets with a toxic (or no) atmosphere.
Uninhabitable planets may meet some or even nearly all of the criteria for Yatalike planets, but are still barred from semi-habitable status due to the sixth, and arguably most important criterion - that it must be habitable in the first place.
