Memoria is the energy that permeates through the Noosphere - whereas orgone is the energy of life, memoria is the flow of consciousness. All conscious beings contain memoria, but memoria cannot/should not exist on its own in realspace. Memoria and the Noosphere itself are only understood to a limited degree, though it can be inferred that 'information' within the Noosphere takes the form of Memoria, allowing sufficiently attuned individuals to manipulate it. Things that are solely constituted from memoria energy rather than orgone are called memoria beings.
Memoria Beings
Memoria beings - essentially a technical term for a ghost - are omnipresent within the Afterlife, and also within Invirian. Essentially, they are consciousnesses without a "physical form" in the strict sense, but often tend to be corporeal in a way that defies known laws of the universe. All inhabitants of afterlife realms are memoria beings in some form, which is why their existence within realspace is often transient and unstable, seemingly having a definite expiration date in which they are no longer capable of existing within corporeal reality. On the contrary, "soul-shattered" beings in realspace are technically purely orgone. For example, the "evil" Carbonado that oversaw the Digiverse Project was an orgone being, whereas the Carbonado that helped to stop the World Machine was a memoria being. Eosians were all memoria beings until their consciousnesses were imbued with orgone from the portal clock.
Memoria beings known to be present in realspace include Lorandite, Clotho, Aeneas, and purportedly Wisteria.
Memoria Space
Memoria spaces are space-time anomalies that lack orgone energy. In a way, they are similar to liminal spaces, except they are present as a "bubble" within realspace and exhibit vastly different properties. Within memoria spaces, all biological functions cease - there is no ageing, injury, dying, or even breathing. The "physical" realm is also not present, however it appears to be present and environments have a physical function through the interconnective psychic properties of the memoria.
The environment within memoria spaces are fluid and highly sensitive to the consciousnesses that reside within them. Highly secret studies conducted by scientists from Primio within Invirian Space found that they could "materialise" a planet within their thoughts, however it seemingly disappeared shortly after, suggesting that even stronger psionic forces were present. As a result, environments can clash and hybridise in peculiar ways depending on how differently the perceivers of a space think, and time may even flow in non-linear ways. As a result, memoria spaces can easily become dangerous places to those unfamiliar with dealing with paradoxes and the nature of causality. Other dangerous aspects include forgetfulness, inconsistent memories, or even present memories that are repressed at a later point - studies into the latter have not been conducted, but it is thought that it may have catastrophic effects. The dangers of memoria spaces are considered to be able to have a largely negative impact on a person's psychic wellbeing. Within smaller memoria spaces these dangers are largely trivial however, but within vastly populated places such as Invirian Space, special measures exist to prevent this.
