The Aitrakszik Emprie was an interstellar empire located in the Gamma Quadrant of the Center Rim, holding control over a collection of starsystems near to their homeworld of Aitraxia. The Aitrakszik were lead by the Congress of Enlightenment, a legislative body dedicated to the empowerment of their empire to a higher level of evolution via whatever means necessary. Due to this goal, the Aitrakszik Empire adopted a syncretic religion of self-worship, treating their species as 'divine' compared to others in the galaxy.
While the Aitrakszik Empire had largely been uninvolved with galactic affairs, they have occasionally raided other civilisations such as the now-destroyed Theldhic Authority with the aim of gathering more knowledge for their enlightenment project. After the Galactic-HAWK War, they were annexed into the Galactic Federation.
