The Technocratic Republic of Islandia, often simply known as Islandia, is a island nation located in Oceania that nowadays is largely limited to the region of Polynesia with its capital of Rapa Nui City on the eponymous island. Administratively Islandia is one of the only true Technocracies in the world, being directly run by the "Board of Technocrats" consisting of various specialists that have allowed Islandia to be much more technologically and scientifically advanced than one could expect from its small and isolated location.
