Club de l'Insolite, also known as the 'Unusual Club' is a faction of the International Avant-Garde founded in 193 centred around an artistic sub-movement of the IAG known as "L'anormal" which involves the act of incorporating Anomalous properties the art. It was formed during an age of progressive thought and scientific progress, coinciding with societal upheaval in Yetia. It was initially rejected by the International Avant-Garde, though it was eventually accepted as a part of the movement. The Unusual Club has no centralized leadership, or headquarters, very few traditions or conventions, and no official membership roles or requirements - All you need to join them is to say you are a part of them and make art which employs, exploits or revolves around anomalous objects, beings or phenomena.
There are cells of the Unusual Club in most large cultural centres. They are organized into small salons, led by some kind of creative mastermind or critic. Some organizations have no leadership however. These are often held under scrutiny by organizations such as the SDS Foundation, whom consider their public use of anomalous items and art as dangerous. They are sometimes known as "art terrorists" by such organizations, a title which has been responded to with mixed reactions by the Club itself with some accepting it, some denying it and some using it ironically.
The largest organization of Unusual Club art is found in a once a decade exhibition in Yetia City known as "Le magnifique" which has critics and visitors to view hundreds of pieces of L'anormal art.
