The Holy Order of Christ is a catholic military order and member of the United Occult Initiative[1]. It is one of the more militarized members of the UOI, forming a significant part of the ACTION Division, although because of this the HOC itself when operating separately from the UPI mostly exists as a collection of chaplains and priests.
The Holy Order of Christ claims to be the reorganized successors of the Knightly Order of Christ, which operated during Ancient Yata from their founding in 892 BCE until their public disbanding in 685 BCE, although continuing to operate secretly until the Great Sleep. The Holy Order of Christ re-emerged during the Third Occult War, which it joined on the Pro-Yetian Side, fighting against the Zuchuan Society and the Xiaweiyi Society. Following this they joined the United Nations' Anti-Anomaly Agency alongside all other combatants, eventually being reorganized into the Accord Occult-Force, which went on to form the United Occult Initiative.
