The Valheimir Illuminati[1] is a secret society which has operated since Ancient Yata, being originally founded during the prelude to the end of the Elemental Nations period in 3974 BCE. They were originally formed to oppose superstition and promote human rights, which they believe is best accomplished in secrecy.
They were founded 3974 BCE in the Elemental Nation of Valheim before its fall in 3456 BGS, which the Illuminati survived as a underground organization and lingered under this structure since then in the various nations which came to inhabit central europe throughout the rest of Ancient History, influencing them and the course of history until it eventually expanded to become fairly global, though their operations were slowed to a halt due to the Great Sleep, being forced to escape via coverly operating in human refuge of Mei'ra. Because of Mei'ra unawareness of the end of the pandemic, the Illuminati remained unaware of the restoration of society until 98. Once it had learned of the reinstatement of society, it swiftly began attempting to insert itself into the world order, which was mostly successful. Though their return did not go unnoticed, as they were eventually contacted by the United Nations Anti-Anomaly Agency[2], with an offer of joining their Occult Council, which the Illuminati accepted. Later on when the UN-AAA's reorganized 'successor', the Accord-Occult Force, merged with the SDL to form the United Occult Initiative the Illuminati followed, becoming a member of the UOI.
In modern times the Illuminati is a fairly significant member of the United Occult Initiative, as many of their members are skilled lawyers and diplomats, playing a major role in negotiating political and diplomatic agreements for the UOI. Though they have been criticised by those supporting the new anti-veil status quo due to their apparent power-hunger[3] and reluctance to stop operating in secrecy.
