Miller, Patel and Lau Ltd. is a multinational corporation operating a High Society Club with expansive political and financial ties across the Yatan-Theian Accord, being one of the most influential organizations within it. Its primary method of making money is the collection or production, and then sale of Anomalous Objects, Beings, and Experiences to the upper class of society. While these activities have occasionally lead to conflicts or disputes with large paranormal agencies such as the SDS Foundation and United Occult Initiative, its usual method of utilising political and financial pressure has often lead to these conflicts to fizzle out, despite the lack of armed force used by MP&L in most cases. When it comes to individual agents of these organizations, MP&L has made ready use of simply paying off members and facilities to get what it wants.
Economics
While the anomalies that the MP&L collects and sells may not really be "that rare", the MP&L has successfully pushed a narrative to the rich of the world that they are one of a kind things, oddities that should not go unnoticed. With this propaganda campaign, the MP&L has successfully sold its business to the point it nowadays operates across the world. Due to their head start when it comes to the business, they were the only significant and accommodating seller of Anomalies which also has contributed to their success.
While they could theoretically plunge the world into chaos with their connections, this is not their objective. According to most buyers, MP&L is the least volatile company in its field, accounting for its support for the SDS Foundation's and Accord Occult-Force's objective to cover up the existence of anomalies from the world, as it would essentially kill their entire monetary scheme.
Logistics
As most objects sold by MP&L are not produced by themselves, they have pioneered the construction and finalization of various supply chains between "anomalous organizations" and "Free-ports", both to increase its business relationships with various organizations and to further increase its economic influence.
Storage
While most of its products are inanimate objects, which are typically easy to contain with no issues, it has a particularly amoral stance when it comes to anomalous beings it sells, whom it keeps in a medically induced coma instead of a cell or room of some kind. MP&L does not care for the well being of its "products", only how much money it can make from them. Though it must be noted it has very sophisticated security when it comes to protecting its customers.
