The Ascendancy of the Nornir is a transhumanist religious organization based in Europe, Additionally being a member of the United Occult Initiative, aswell as formerly being a part of its predecessor organization "Accord Occult-Force".

The Ascendancy believes that humanity's greatest purpose is the hastening of the technological singularity, which will lead to the creation of a benevolent supersentient hyperintelligence that will guide humanity into a highly technological future. In order to achieve this eventual goal, the Ascendancy follows, maintains and worships a trio of supposedly Precognitive Sentient Supercomputers named Urthor, Verthandi, and Skuldir. These Supercomputers also serve as the ceremonial leaders of the Asendancy, often personally taking diplomatic action or talking through devoted human interpreters.
