Special Defensive Safeguards

SDS-005 was to be contained in a inert object containment chamber in Storage-Site-4, placed on a table. Doors are to be locked to prevent access by unauthorised individuals. A old, wooden door is to be places in the back end of the room to ensure limited disruptions by anomalous effect. Site-4 was seized by the United Occult Initiative and The Collective in 367, and has remained under their containment despite retrieval attempts.

Description

SDS-005 is a special handheld bell that when rung twice together, 3 times twice, it summons a dimensional door in place of the nearest door. It opens to a bountiful pocket dimension designated SDS-005-1, which appears to be a mirror image of the Mekong Delta in Nakmai. The correlation between the bell, the dimension and the mirror location are yet to be discovered.

Exploration Log A team of D-Class Personnel were dispatched into SDS-005-1 via the wooden door in its containment chamber. Inside they discovered that SDS-005-1 is rather small, and features a jungle. The "Sky" of the dimension has a exact copy of the "ground", and replicates any change on the ground onto the sky, and vice versa. D-Class Personnel spent 5 days there with no anomalous effects and were then safely recalled.

Results Following the exploration of SDS-005-1 the SDS Foundation has opened an outpost in SDS-005-1. In here is a small, permanent team in case of catastrophe in reality. Supplies are to be delivered to the outpost on a bi-monthly basis.
