Special Defensive Safeguards

SDS-015 is contained within a stasis pod in a permanent freeze state if not currently being analysed or tested in order to prevent its growth and aggression. SDS-015 is to be fed via IV containing nuclear waste every 25 days to keep it docile. In this docile state, it is relatively harmless. During testing SDS-015 will be removed from stasis, and will be guarded by the remaining non-reassigned members of MAS Nukesquid armed with plasma-based flamethrower weapons. After testing is complete any newly-grown sections which do not have a special exception are to be immediately destroyed.

Description

SDS-015 is a vaguely mollusc-like organism. When it's in its natural state without containment it resembles a root-like system of light pink tentacles with a head at its end, the head consists of a ring formed out of tentacles surrounding a central core of 4 compound eyes. SDS-015 is confirmed to be a parasitic organism and that it feeds off of radiation, this is based off of its former home being the Ingalina Nuclear Powerplant. SDS-015 latched itself to the roof of Reactor 4 and began feeding off of nuclear waste and radiation produced by the reactor, which was breached by its tentacles. It was advised to not interfere with this until INCIDENT-015-YR232. After this its guidelines have been modified to be kept in a perpetually cut down form, as it can survive and regrow from the smallest of remaining tentacles. The final piece of it is perpetually frozen in Containment-Area-15.

Ever since Polsk Attacked it it was found out that SDS-015 is actually a large web of root like tentacles across the building which leeched off its power. Without its head and main source of nutrition it has become aggressive and inhabited the walls and grabs people with tentacles. It has been slowly been killed off but due to its properties this has had some difficulty. Such as its limbs appearing to still be alive if severed so it must be killed with incineration or fire based weapons leading to attacks on it requiring more caution due to its location being in a nuclear powerplant. After this the SDS was forced to intervene against the breach caused by Polsk utilising experimental plasma weaponry. It eventually left the powerplant and began spreading all over Polsk, however it was eventually exterminated with aid of nuclear weapons and before mentioned plasma technology. An anonymous SDS Operative retrieved a piece of it which is now the section of it in our containment.

SDS-015 was not contained in a site due to the risk and difficulty of removing it, this has also been a strength in its containment. SDS-015 did not appear to be mobile at all and did not want to leave until Polsk against SDS Guidance tried to forcibly remove SDS-015 leading to it entering a aggressive state and breaching its stable containment condition and as its head was destroyed it transformed into a web of tentacles inhabiting every wall of the Ingalina Nuclear Power station in which the tentacles occasionally sprung out and grabbed people from vents or cracks in the wall. This has been mitigated with MAS Nukesquid being sent into the power station with specialised flamethrower like weapons and drones. This has allowed them to cause SDS-015 to retreat further into the power staion in which as of now it only inhabited the section of the building where reactor 4 is located.
