In the fragmentary era Humanity would begin to gradually rebuild and recolonise their homeworld, with various new societies such as Luxuria, Sizzle, Tritonia, and Yetia emerging alongside many others. This period was marked by largescale warfare across much of the planet over various reasons, only occasionally interrupted with periods of peace and diplomacy. This period was followed by a brief return to a fragmentary state until 441 CE, which was when the formation of the Yatan Commonwealth occurred, managing to reunify the disparate factions that emerged from the ruins of the collapse in 397 BCE over the next two decades under its socialist form of governance, allowing Yata to finally reach to the stars as an interstellar power alongside many of those that had migrated from the planet in the past. | The unity era began in 376 BCE, which saw the Socialist Union of Yetia subsumed into the Eurasian Confederacy, which went on to become the first major pluralistic unifying force for Yata, briefly managing to unify the entirety of the planet until its collapse due to a myriad of internal crises such as corruption and securocratic dominance in 397 BCE. The Confederation of Yata<nowiki/>' is the predominant planetary governing body present across the entirety of Yata, with only certain smaller or fringe regions operating as sovereign states beyond the Confederation. The Confederation was first established in the year 496 after the collapse of the Yatan-Theian Federation lead to the Second Concordance which 'federalized' all of the former Federation as holdings of the Yatan-Theian Accord, which were all promptly granted significant autonomy to act as their own self-governing polities confederated together to compose the Accord.
The government of the Confederation of Yata is centred in the city of Mylonagrad, a major city situated within the heartland of the continent of Eurasia which has long acted as a central position for diplomatic meetings ever since the days of the Tritonian Confederacy ruled the region. All major government offices are located in the city, though each individual Republic has a capital of its own.
=== Government Structure ===
The government of the Confederation is divided into 3 primary branches, the Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial. The Executive Government is headed by the 'Chairperson of Yata', a administrative position elected via planet-wide presidential elections that are held every 5 years, with the President largely acting as a figurehead responsible for directing the Executive government's various 'General Secretariats' (Departments) such as the General Secretariat of Finances, General Secretariat of Education, General Secretariat of Defence, and various other branches intended to assist with planetary governance. The Legislative Government is composed of the 'General Assembly of Yata', a unicameral parliamentary body where each 'Republic' within the Confederation is granted 5 seats (which are elected by each Republic during planet-wide legislative elections) to both represent themselves and to elect a 'Premier', together adding up to 465 seats in total with each representative typically being a part of one of Yata's many planetary political party coalitions derived from the parties of its member-republics. The Judicial Government is largely composed of the 'General Court of Yata' responsible for Confederation-spanning court ruling and interpreting laws written by the Legislation and approved by the Executive.
The Confederation of Yata's highest level of administrative division is known as the 'Republic', which are essentially entirely self-governing entities which only relegate functions such as foreign policy, mediation, collective defence, and other similar policies to their planetary government. The Confederation is largely capable of maintaining peace among the Republics, dedicating itself to achieving diplomatic solutions and comrpomises whenever tensions between Republics emerge. Republics are further divided into provinces and municipalities responsible for governing local regions and individual settlements respectively.
=== Economy === | |||
The Confederation of Yata is largely uninvolved with the economies of its constituent republics, though the general 'economic structure' which has emerged under its rule can be best described as a socialistic form of decentralized state capitalism, allowing a regulated market to exist on the planet (allowing external companies to operate) which both the Confederation and its constituent republics intervene within via state-owned companies and varyingly strict regulations.

Yata[1] is the third closest planet to Alpha Sol, as well as being the second-largest, second-most massive, and third-most dense terrestrial planet in the Alpha Sol System, second only Theia. It is the most populated planet both within the Alpha Sol System and the entirety of the Yatan-Theian Accord as a whole, hosting a population of 8,49 billion individuals of which a vast majority are Humans, though many others such as Yomtach are also present on the planet.. Yata's surface is consists of roughly 29% terrestrial landscapes, with the remaining 71% being made up of various bodies of water. Yata is in a distant binary orbit with Kanashi, a exact copy of the planet which had arrived during the Red Leader's Second Attack on Yata from an alternate dimension. Beyond Kanashi, Yata is also orbited by one moon called 'Luna'.
Yata as a planet is fairly unique on a cosmic scale, being one of the most Void Energy rich planets to ever be discovered despite much of its reserves being used up, which when paired with its various dimensional oddities and anomalies has made it a remarkable point of study for scientists across the Galactic Community. Most of Yata's terrestrial landscapes are covered in various kinds of vegetation, though some regions lack vegetation and are instead covered by desolate tundras or arid deserts.
Culture and Demographics
Yatans tend to lack a single unified culture, as centuries of history and Humanity's seemingly natural tendency to divide itself into a number of 'countries' or 'nation states' has lead to each region having a remarkably unique culture, albeit regional similarities are of course common. As one of the homeworlds of Humanity (planets settled prior to achieving FTL Travel), Yata largely lacks a single dominant population centre as its people are quite evenly spread out between each region within countless smaller settlements and communities divided by highways and nature, leading to Mylonagrad being designated as capital largely due to historical precedent and its central position on the largest terrestrial continent of Eurasia. Many other major cities exist on the planet, but the two other largest cities would most likely by Yetia City in 'Europe' and Argentina City in 'South America'.
Yatans lack a single unified language that allows for planet-wide communication, though languages such as English (Thanks to Theian and Yorican influence) and Russian (Thanks to Confederate language-policies) act as the typical lingua franca, with other languages such as Arabic, French, Hindi, Mandarin, and Spanish being among the most spoken. Religion is not universally agreed upon either, with the two largest religions being Christianity and Islam, followed by others such as Hinduism and Buddhism.
History
Yata's history is divided into four major eras, starting off with the longest 'ancient' era which stretched from the planet's birth until 300 BCE, an interlude "dark age" from 300 BCE to 0 CE, the fragmentary era from 0 CE until 376 CE, and finally the unified era beginning in 376 CE.
Little is known of the ancient era, with all known information sourced from architectural studies and the few surviving documents from the period. This period was much like the period that followed The Great Sleep, consisting of numerous nation-states competing for various purposes. Unlike modernity, their inability to stop The Great Sleep lead to them never advancing to the same levels as modern humanity has, only achieving technologies akin to that of Yata by 100 CE.
The Great Sleep was a dark age for the planet, with each and every human (who were the sole predominant species) falling into a centuries-long comatose state due to the rampant Scandimaro Sleeping Sickness, leaving the planet to fall into ruin as the Yomtach remained unaware. During this period the non-native Nihilist Iujado arrived on the planet, flourishing during their period of dominance thanks to Yata's vast mineral wealth and lack of anyone able to defend it, destroying most records to prevent a strong foe from emerging if humanity was to reawaken. The sole functioning human habitation during this period was the Free State of Mei'ra located on an artificial platform in the South Atlantic, a eugenicist regime determined to restore humanity via whatever means possible, most notably making use of satellites to attempt to contact the still hypothetical possibility of alien life. Despite many experiments by Mei'ra to re-awaken humanity, they would in stead unexpectedly wake up on their own after 3 centuries of hibernation with only little to none of their memories intact, leading to society effectively starting over.
In 116 CE the planet Theia, homeworld of the Theian Natives arrived in the Alpha Sol System after a period of aimless travel thru interstellar space after being ejected from its home system. Humanity was quick to take notice, using their recently developed spacefaring technologies to begin largescale colonisation of the planet as the species' second home, one which largely ended up being much more peaceful. Whenever Yata came under threat Theia often acted as a safe-haven for humanity to persist such as during the Yetian National Front's brief occupation of the planet, the Yomtach Insurgency which saw the Yomtach re-emerging full force and briefly taking over the planet before being rendered nearly extinct yet integrated into human society, attacks by interstellar powers such as Foarhinnea, and various internal threats posed by figures such as the New Luxurian Empire briefly before Theia's arrival.
This Commonwealth would later be subsumed into the Theian Federation in 469 CE, leading to the formation of the Yatan-Theian Federation as the by-far most dominant Human state for nearly 30 years until a series of crisis lead to the Federation being absorbed directly into the Yatan-Theian Accord, allowing for the 'Confederation of Yata' to emerge as a self-governing planet-wide government.
Government and Politics

The 'Confederation of Yata' is the predominant planetary governing body present across the entirety of Yata, with only certain smaller or fringe regions operating as sovereign states beyond the Confederation.
Government Structure
The government of the Confederation is divided into 3 primary branches, the Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial. The Executive Government is headed by the 'Chairperson of Yata', a administrative position elected via planet-wide presidential elections that are held every 5 years, with the President largely acting as a figurehead responsible for directing the Executive government's various 'General Secretariats' (Departments) such as the General Secretariat of Finances, General Secretariat of Education, General Secretariat of Defence, and various other branches intended to assist with planetary governance.
