The Sublime Yashidi Caliphate, usually known as Alhayat and formerly Hayah was a sovereign theocratic monarchy holding control over large portions of the middle east. The Nation's former government known as Hayah gained independence from Sarpistan in 134, later reorganizing itself into the Yashidi Caliphate in 336. It survived in this state until late 364, in which it was conquered by Khat and integrated into the new United Arab Republic.
Before its destruction in the Second Khatian-Alhayatian War, Alhayat bordered The Holy Land and the Khatian-Alhayatian DMZ to the west, Sarpistan to the north, Imperial Apothelis to the east and Almadina and Aparty to the south. Alhayat had sea access on the Red Sea, Mediterranean, Persian Gulf and a small panhandle to the Arabian Sea. As of 345 the capital of Alhayat had been located in Jeddah, formerly being located in Doha.
Government
Alhayat was a theocratic absolute monarchy under the direct control of the House of Yashid following the Hayahan Power-struggle in 336, which lead to the House of Faez dying out. Alhayat followed sharia law in its government structure, especially due to its self proclaimed goal to unite all Islamic nations in the world into one kingdom. These goals however had caused Alhayat to gain several enemies, with its only ally bordering it being the nation of Almadina, which itself was a client state aligned with Alhayat, though Alhayat still had several allied or aligned states mostly across Africa and Central Asia.
Demographics
Alhayat was predominantly Arab, with only small minorities of Kurds, Assyrians and Turks in the north. Religion-wise Alhayat was muslim, with islam being its state religion.
History
Hayah gained its independence in 134 following the Death of Safir Pianga, who decided that the People's Republic of Sarpistan was to be divided between his 3 children upon his death. Zamir Pianga was granted the status of Supreme Leader of the People's Republic of Hayah.
Hayah's first action was to help defend Sarpistan from a Quatritonian invasion in 135, which they were surprisingly successful in as they pushed into Quatritonian Persia and liberated Sarpistan with the aid of Khat.
Later on in 15.11 Yetia fought a war against the 3 ex-sarpistani nations, eventually defeating them, and occupying Hayahan Hejaz in the process.
Zamir would eventually turn Hayah away from communism, reorganizing the country into the People's Islamic Republic of Hayah, alligning with Hongerswak in the Pianga Schism, thus forming Hongerswak and hayah are the best countries and hate communism, thus aiding Hongerswak in their war against Hongerswak and Sarpistan are the best countries, which ended in a armistice agreement between Hayah and HASATBC, gaining Jordan in the peace treaty.
This however permanently semeted Hayah's seperation from the former Sarpistan, inspiring them to fight alongside Great Sizzle and Yetia against Sarpistan, Khat and various other powers in the next world war. In this Hayah was very successful, conquering rest of the Arabic Peninsula. Hayah eventually did defect against Yetia and Sizzle alongside Lineland, though it lost to theeir combined forces, only to be liberated by its former subjects which lead to it being forced to hand over Hejaz to Sarpistan.
Hayah aided the Adriatic Alliance in their war against Yetia and Sarpistan in 178, reclaiming Hejaz and gaining Syria. Though this did not last, as in 184 Hayah attempted to intervene against a resurgent Sarpistan, which ended in their defeat and reorganization into Occupied Hayah
Eventually Hayah regained its independence as the Islamic State of Hayah, before being briefly occupied by the UFR, until it fully regained its independence under a regency in 228 as the Interim Administration of Hayah, briefly facing a civil war between the Regency and armed forces which was quelled by the regency.
In 292 the Regency collapsed as Almahdi Ahmad was designated as the new emir, leading to the power-hungry Aliyy Faez revolting against Hayah as he did not gain the throne. He managed to defeat Almahdi and all other insurgents, establishing the Islamic Emirate of Hayah, whish is the beginning of Modern Hayah.
Aliyy's Hayah began a highly expansionist and fundamentalist foreign doctrine, attacking and defeating Sarpistan twice leading to the nation becoming a failed state. It also had recently engaged in a major war against the Rome Cooperation Council, gaining several territories at the south in expense for losing much of the mountainous north of the country to the Caucasian League and Imperial Apothelis.
Aliyy Faez eventually died in 336, leading to a brief power-struggle leading to the coronation of Ibrahim Al-Yashid as the Caliph of Alhayat, truly beginning the modern era for Alhayat. This modern era continued until 364, in which the Second Khatian-Alhayatian War broke out following the death of Ibrahim Al-Yashid and the coronation of Rashad Al-Yashid, leading to instability and a rebellion in Mesopotamia. Khat managed to win the war, and reorganized itself, the former Alhayatian lands, the former Almadinan lands and the former Mesopotamian rebel lands into the United Arab Republic.
