The Pillars is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a series of vast many kilometre long pillars situated within a dark void. These pillars are largely devoid of notable structures apart from one situated to the north of the 'centre' of the sub-space, which houses some kind of unusual complex inhabited by a highly powerful entity known as the "Ender Elemental", who will immediately attack any wanderers if it managed to spot them. Unfortunately, the only way to escape this sub-space is to defeat this creature.

Due to its lack of resources and present entities The Pillars has no permanent population, instead only having a population of roughly 0-3 transitory visitors at any given time.

• If you noclip in the cavern found underneath Cold Islandia you will be sent here.
• Noclipping in the 'ender' quadrant of the Four Dimensions will send you here.

Exits

• Defeating the Ender Elemental and jumping down the hole within its fortress will allow one to exit to the Dead Church.
