The Shipwreck is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a series of shipwrecks situated within a turbulent sea notable for its strange 'bowl'-like currents. These currents flow in odd manners, typically flowing downwards to central points surrounding the shipwrecks rather than behaving as water normally should. The shipwrecks themselves, while dilapidated, are largely safe to swim into, though they are entirely filled with water preventing their usage as points of habitation. The only solid ground above-water within this sub-space is the very top of each shipwreck which just barely peeks above the waterline, making long-term habitation of this sub-space largely unfeasible in the eyes of most major groups within the Backrooms.
Demographics
Due to its turbulent currents, lack of resources, and lack of dry ground the Shipwreck only has a population of roughly 0-7 Transitory Visitors at any given time as of 441, with no permanent inhabitants currently residing within it.
